During a time where all west coast music was labeled negative, and life in the hood was perceived as terrible(which is true a lot of the time)it was nice to hear Cube change it up on everyone, and say "hey you can have a good day in the hood." He takes you on a trip through South Central from the perspective of a G, in a positive day. His story telling as always been amazing and he never looses you for a second.

Story Raps #13: I Used TO Love H.E.R

One of the greatest concept songs of all time. The way he personified Hip-Hop and told a story can never be done again. An amazing song. It's ironic that Common has never actually been, common. He'll always be a top 5-10 emcee.

Story Raps #12: Start From Scratch

A very powerful song by The Game. Very deep lyrics and he's give you an in depth look at his life before becoming an emcee. The drunken/teary eyed delivery mixed with the story telling makes this a classic. Enjoy.

Story Raps #11: The Coolest

Open your ears as Lupe tells the story of a youngin' chasing the cool. Doing things he's not proud of just because his perception of it is twisted. Hands down one of Lupe's best songs.

It's amazing that this song is just as relevant today as it was when it dropped in '91. That says a lot about our society and the music that Pac made. There is a powerful message in this story, that needs to be heard. So all the Brenda's of today please, WAKE UP!

Kendrick Lamar tells a story of a young girl on the wrong path, but in too deep to stop. I think everyone should hear this story, especially young females. Very powerful, and in some cases life changing. This is for all the Keisha's out there. (song begins at 0:19)

This song is just powerful to put it simply. J.Cole tells a tale of two young adults that have to make a decision. A decision that will not only change their lives, but the life of another. What makes this song classic is that he really captures the emotion that both sides would have in this situation. A true world of art, and great visual to complement it perfectly. This is for the lost ones.

Eminem showing the world that he was a complete emcee with this joint, as he depicted the life of an osessed fan. Everything about this track was well thoughtout. From the anger in his voice(when speaking from Stans perspective) to the pencil noises in the background of the track (while he was writing the letters).
